UN & Partners Work Plan for Sudan

The Work Plan for Sudan has been UN and Partners planning, coordination and fund-raising tool since 2005. The Work Plan website has separate sections for each year of the Work Plan and within each section a number of dedicated Work Plan reports and documents are made available in electronic form.

Resource Tracking Services

The Resource Tracking Service is located within OCHA Sudan and undertakes tracking and analysis of international assistance to Sudan. This website makes available a broad range of funding reports based on data from the Assistance Database for Sudan (ADS), a database developed and maintained by the Resource Tracking Service for Sudan .

Common Humanitarian Fund - CHF

The UN coordinated approach to the delivery of humanitarian aid in Sudan has been manifested in the Work Plan for Sudan that encompasses UN Agencies and many NGOs. Given the existence of this comprehensive Work Plan, a number of donors and UN Organizations have agreed to establish a common fund mechanism - the Common Humanitarian Fund or CHF.

Monitoring and Evaluation

The goal of the M&E Unit is to provide an objective basis for assessing the effectiveness of the annual Work Plan for Sudan, measure progress towards achieving the objectives, and identify and disseminate lessons learned from experience. The M&E unit aims to deliver monitoring and evaluation products and services that reinforce accountability, transparency, and organizational learning.
